The American Board of Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC) credential qualifies some 3,000 practitioners nation wide to perform patient care services at a much higher level of complexity than any other recognition program in orthotics or prosthetics.
Tim Owens CO has been serving in
Charlotte since 1980. He completed
the Orthotics program at Northwestern
University and worked his residency in
Charlotte. In addition to lower
extremity work with children and
adults, Tim is recognized nationally for
his work in the orthotic management
of spinal pathologies.
Lori Boulware CFO, has been with
Owens Carolina since 2008. She
earned her Certification as a Orthotic
Fitter during this time. Lori worked 8
years as a Certified Pharmacy tech
and an additional 10 years with a
home medical company serving
patient educational needs.

Mollie Matthews, CPO, received her
Bachelors degree in Science from
Lees McRae College, and then
attended the Orthotics program at the
University of Conn. She later earned
her Certification in Prosthetics. Mollie
has received additional training in
stance phase and neuro prostheticss.
She has extensive experience with
elective and post traumatic limb losss.
